In September 2008, owner and operator Stephen Latzanakis and his family opened The Greek Grille located in Winchester Center. Stephen is an experienced restaurateur. In 1986, he bought a Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robins in Harvard Square. He learned the food business from top to bottom. He successfully ran the Dunkin/Baskin for 14 years - the store was even featured in the hit movie Good Will Hunting - until he sold the business in 2000. Steve brought his experience, knowledge, and success to Winchester when he decided to open up a traditional Greek restaurant. He believed that Winchester was in need of a Greek restaurant. The Greek Grille is a family run restaurant and includes the recipes from the Latzanakis family that have been used for over 85 years. The restaurant is run by Steve, his sons Yanni, and Jordan, his daughter Stephanie, his wife Sandy, and his mother Joann.
